Kenya’s wildlife is often considered this eastern African country’s greatest resource. But many species, including elephant, rhinoceros, and lion, are threatened by poachers. The Pegasus Foundation works with several groups that engage local residents in innovative programs to protect the wildlife through education, security patrols and desnaring teams.
